Robert Aronowitz
Robert Aronowitz is a Director, Actor, and Stage Combatant located in Central Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with his BFA in Performance. Professional Theatre credits include: The 2010 & 2011 seasons of "Horn in the West Outdoor Drama" (Attikula/Dancer/Fighter) for the Southern Appalachian Historical Association Inc. in Boone, NC and "The Chimes" (Birdie) for the 2009 Playfest! The Harriet Lake Festival of New Plays at Orlando Shakespeare Theatre in Orlando, FL. His UCF acting credits include: "The Chimes" (Birdie), "The Lark" (Joan’s Father), "West Side Story" (Diesel), "Parade" (Guard), "Cabaret" (Max), "Summer Spotlight" (Featured Performer), "Talk Radio" (Dan), and "Passion Play" (Director 1). Robert has trained most under the supervision of Fight Master Mark "Rat" Guinn who is responsible for his successful passes in 6 weapons for the SAFD and 5 weapons for the BASSC. Robert has also had the pleasure of training with Fight Master k. Jenny Jones. His fight credits include fight choreography for: "Living Dead in Denmark" (Daniel Boone Amphitheater), "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (Orlando Shakespeare Theater), "Twelfth Night" (University of Central Florida), and "The Chimes" (University of Central Florida) Robert studied directing under the supervision of David Lee who was not only a professor at UCF, but also the Associate Director of New Play Development at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater. His Directing credits include: "Rounding Third" (Daniel Boone Amphitheater) and "BEER: The Musical!" (University of Central Florida). His Asst. Directing credits include: "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (Orlando Shakespeare Theatre), "Jehrico" (PlayFest! The Harriett Lake Festival of New Plays), and "Citizen Eve" (PlayFest! The Harriett Lake Festival of New Plays). He is originally from Jupiter, FL but doesn't usually tell people that to avoid planet jokes. He has a wonderful family that loves and supports him, no matter what he does. He also enjoys music, travel, technology, driving, and adventures.
