Robert Di Bacco is an international education and non-profit executive helping organizations finance their mission. He is COO/CFO of the Arizona Charter Schools Association, where for eight years he helped develop financial strategies to make AZCS thrive, be more financially viable--and ultimately serve the students with an excellent education.

In addition to his financial experience, Robert Di Bacco understands independent boarding and day schools. He was an administrator at The Orme School of Arizona, The American School in Switzerland, and was the founding director of The Gaia Schools in Chile and Argentina.

He has an honors bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario and a master’s in business administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and is bilingual in English and Spanish with proficiency in French and Italian.

Robert is currently responsible for all of the Arizona Charter Schools Association’s financial and operations, striving to make the Association a sustainable non-profit organization. Under his leadership, AZCA has grown substantially through the financing and acquisition of a new permanent home.

Robert began his educational career at The American School in Switzerland where he spent four years as the Director of Athletics & Travel. After moving back to North America he changed focus and became a financial analyst with Travelers Group. He decided to return to the education space and founded The Gaia School in Chile and Argentina to help North American middle and high school students broaden their horizons and improve their Spanish language abilities and led the study abroad organization for over eight years. Moving to the US, Robert became the Director of Outdoor Education at The Orme School of Arizona. He has lived and studied in Switzerland and Spain, and has spent many years living and working in Latin America.
