Bobby Eck

Hey my name is Bobby Eck and I am a freshman at UGA. I am from Long Island New York, which is pretty far but I love it down here. I grew up with my two younger siblings and love to hangout with them. I was also very into sports growing up and still am today. I was a big baseball and basketball player, and played them for most of my life. I also work at a pizzeria back on Long Island which is very cool. Working as a delivery driver is definitely interesting and fun. Learning how to fold pizza boxes, and how to read the different items that you need to pick up although seems easy was actually not at first. My first day on the job I actually ended up missing 2 items and almost got fired. Thankfully, I ended up not and continue to work there. One of my favorite hobbies that I love to do is fish. Back home I loved to go to the beach and go on my buddies boat. It was a good way to get my mind off of a bunch of things and relax. Also I enjoy the feeling of catching a fish, its something that can't be matched. However, now being in college I don't get a lot of time so I haven't been yet. Which is one of the many things that I have had to adjust to being in a new and random place. Although it was a little scary at first coming to a completely different place with no one you know, I was able to find my people and have loved every second down here. Between the football games, the school spirit and greek life I have truly found my place and will never leave.
