I’m passionate about providing research support for early career researchers and PhD students. Starting a research project is a daunting task. When presenting a research idea to a potential supervisor, it’s important to have a plan. It’s even better to have a research pitch guaranteed to cover the crucial points in fifteen minutes. Sometimes, that’s all a busy supervisor can spare. As part of my role as AFAANZ Visiting Research Professor, I’m proud to be heading a new educational initiative for research students worldwide. It uses a simple template to enable students to craft a concise, hard-hitting research pitch.
