Robert Fellmeth

Robert Fellmeth is the executive director and founder of the Children's Advocacy Institute at the University of San Diego School of Law’s Center for Public Interest Law. The Children's Advocacy Institute is a leading research organization and advocate for improving young people’s lives by reforming institutions like the foster care system. Complementing his executive role at the institute, Robert Fellmeth serves as a professor at the University of San Diego School of Law, which has honored him as a Remarkable Leader in Education.

As an academic who is also active in the community, Robert Fellmeth chairs the boards of both the Public Citizen Foundation and the National Association of Counsel for Children. Further, he sits on the board of First Star and serves Voices of America's Children as board counsel.

Prior to beginning his legal career, Mr. Fellmeth earned his bachelor of arts cum laude from Stanford University and his juris doctor from Harvard Law School.
