Robert Marx

Dr Robert Marx has been a lifelong resident of Kansas City. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City. He received his dental degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 1977. He has a wife, Terri Marx and 2 children. Dr. Marx loves dentistry as a profession and continues to take further training and continuing education to not only stay up-to-date but on the cutting edge of dental technology. In 1993 he trained to provide orthodontics as a general dentist. In 1999 he trained and was certified to place implants and deliver the cosmetic dentistry associated with it. In 2003, he took training on delivery of ClearCorrect, clear braces. In 2005, he took training and began to incorporate laser dentistry in his practice. This laser is used both for periodontal or gum tissue but also treatment of cavities. Dr. Marx personal interests include studying history in many subject areas, boating, hiking, photography and writing. Dr. Marx is very committed to family and his community. For example, he is the founder of the annual Have A Heart Program in Kansas City in which he provides free dental cleanings and exams for underprivileged children through who no fault of their own have not received dental care. He has helped more than 2000 children since 1987. Dr. Marx and his wife Terri have also sponsored other programs, such as Set A Good Example Contest where school children learn and apply moral precepts in their lives. This program was sponsored in all elementary schools in the Kansas City School district. Over the years, several schools have been acknowledged nationally. These schools and this program were then recognized by Mayor Cleaver.
