Robert Gonzalez

A seasoned engineer and natural born leader, I have many years of organizational leadership experience across varying disciplines and contexts. At present I lead a worldwide organization of 50+ engineering staff across six different product specialties, and I am responsible for the development and delivery of products with annual revenue in excess of $80M. I lead front end, back end, platform, mobile, security, and performance engineering with a focus on reliability, quality, scalability, and maintainability.

Driven by an undying curiosity and a desire to make an impact every day, I am always looking for ways to improve product and process, and I absolutely love interesting challenges, be they product, process or people related. I have the fortune of both working on, and leading, development efforts of frameworks, services, middleware, and applications. I've also developed a keen understanding of SDLC, Agile Development, Engineering management, organizational leadership, and product management.

With a strong desire to continually make a difference both as a leader and a contributor, I am fortunate to not only be able to lead organizations but still offer technical expertise on the software my team builds. Making an impact is critical to me, and my professional interests reflect that. I am always open to new challenges and I bring a fresh perspective to the table, one that is people minded, success focused, and process driven. I’m certain I can still make a positive impact in any organization.
