Robert Hills, an experienced business advisor, is known for helping, educating, and supporting clients as they develop strategic plans for business growth.

Robert began his career as a tax accountant gaining unparalleled experience in the business compliance space, while also establishing himself as a respected business advisor and mentor.

From early in his career Robert just wanted to be out helping businesses to succeed. At the age of 24 he jumped at the chance to take over as manager of a small practice in Canberra. However, the sunshine of Queensland was calling and he relocated back.

Robert’s keen interest in business management annoyed a few bosses along the way as he was employed to prepare tax returns. But he knew what his true calling was. One boss said I wish I could get my clients to ring me like they ring you? Robert’s response was “Its about good communication and value”.

After the end of a long relationship Robert moved to the Gold Coast. Here he began a CFO roll. The goal was to update procedures and get the business ready for sale. This goal was achieved in under 12 months. A variety of consulting work lead to the formation of The Exit Accountant and Bizgrowth Management & Tax.

While servicing most industries Robert has a passion for Construction, Transport & Retail. He has had various speaking and international engagements on topics like Work in Progress, QBCC reviews, transportation, tendering and Point of Sale procedures.

In his spare time Robert enjoys date night with Kim, Euchre, Cruising and learning.

He is combining all these with business workshops at sea in 2020.
