Kwe', teluisi Lobeld! Hello, my name is Robert Leamon! I'm a Mi'kmaq Land Protector of the Qalipu First Nation, and was born and raised near Maqtukwek [mock-du-gweck] before moving to St. John's where I still live today.

As a Land Protector and anti-capitalist, I'm passionate about decolonization, tackling the climate crisis, and ensuring economic and food security for all. Standing in solidarity with Land Protectors across Turtle Island and around the world, I am dedicated to resisting capitalist-colonial energy projects that destroy the environment and contribute to ongoing genocide against Indigenous peoples.

In addition to reclaiming my Indigenous identity through activism and performance, I strive to build community and inspire activism across social movements on a local and global scale. I continue my activism as part of the Social Justice Co-operative, the Anti-Racism Coalition, and the Indigenous Activist Collective.

As Wela'lin, thanks for dropping by! If you'd like to stay connected, find me at @robertleamon on most social media (and the links below!)
