Robert Lisma

For those who may not be familiar with me my name is Robert Lisma born in Newark, NJ but I stand here as a proud mountie from Montclair, NJ. Both of my parents were born in Haiti which brings a smile to my face. Along with family the country itself is near and dear to my heart. Its important to be proud as it brings vision to your path. Upon graduation I chose to attend Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh, NC. As one of the oldest HBCU’s (1867) in the nation it is rich in history. As a proud falcon the atmosphere and quality of education was welcoming. You come in as a student and get embraced as by students and faculty because success is ideal.

During my tenure at SAU I pledged the Gamma Psi chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, Inc. I hold Alpha dear to my heart because everywhere I go the light shines bright. I received my bachelors in English and I’am now pursuing my masters in Public Relations from Full Sail University. My experience has allowed me to become well rounded. Working for such companies as Kodak Alaris, Credit Suisse, and SageWorks has allowed me to be well-rounded. Being a business analyst, personal solution imaging specialist, and territory manager did not have much correlation. But I know that in life, sometimes it’s not about finding yourself; its about creating yourself. My career goal is to build, grow and help others which will in turn help me. Gain clients and create a business that is needed by many. Being the best PR professional possible can lead me anywhere. I value entrepreneurship which is an attribute that lives in me. Who doesn’t want to reach any type of success? But its important to understand that theres no way you’re going to do it alone. I don’t know any one who has done it alone. As my life continues I hope to be a blessing to the community and the world around me. But first it starts here.
