Robert Marcil began his hospitality career with Hilton Hotels Corporation in Tarrytown, NY. During his 11 year tenure, he earned five promotions, lastly as Director of Operations, Eastern Region responsible for 6 executives and 49 Hilton Hotels.
Mr. Marcil then joined HEI Hotels as Corporate Director of Human Resources (Westport, CT.). He was responsible for the strategic and tactical organizational growth from 4 first-class, hotels with 400 employees to 22 first-class hotels with 4000 employees. He personally handled the HR acquisition due diligence and on-site activities for 18 first-class hotels nationwide. Robert championed effective use of change management principles, strategies and techniques to plan, implement and evaluate change. He provided the leadership to shape the organizations culture, systems and processes to enable change; yielding superior business plan results.
Robert Marcil created his consultancy, HR Benefits & Compliance, Inc. and handled the opening and acquisition of 10 first-class and AAA 4-diamond hotels nationwide over 10 years. Robert completed the HR acquisition due diligence for Chalet Susse International (comprised of 26 hotels with 2500 employees in 8 states).
Upon completion of three AAA 4-diamond hotel acquisitions for The Melrose Hotel Company, he joined them as Senior Vice President Human Resources. During his tenure with Melrose (a new, start-up, AAA 4-diamond hotel ownership/management company). he contributed to development of their customized branding standards, "best practices" workplace culture, operating standards, policies, procedures, and cutting-edge technology systems yielding superior business plan results.

Robert Marcil joined NHH Hotels and Resorts as Executive Vice President of HR and handled the HR due diligence for 4 first-class hotels. He served as General Manager of the CalNeva Resort Spa and Casino in Lake Tahoe for 5 years.
Robert Marcil created RM HR Consulting Associates based in Wayne, Pa. in 2014. Most recent assignments are the Kenilworth Hotel (NJ), Serrano Hotel (San Francisco, CA.) and The Silveraro Resort and Spa (Napa, CA.).
