Robert Mericle

My Name is Robert Mericle, and I am the founder and president of Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services. I have more than 30 years of experience in our sector of the real estate market. I am also a licensed general contractor with a background in commercial development, construction, finance and many more facets of the commercial real estate business. Mericle is a full-service, commercial real estate development firm based near Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. I founded the company in 1985 and it has grown to be one of the leading developers in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Mericle is a speculative developer of industrial, office, flex, and medical space. I have been credited with building the first speculative industrial facilities ever constructed by a private, for-profit developer in Northeastern Pennsylvania. We have constructed and/or renovated close to 19 million square feet in the region. With buildings constructed in 15 business parks with more than 13,400 people that work in those buildings, we have built a strong reputation of job growth and opportunity in the region over the years.

The team we have built at Mericle Commercial real estate, comprised of over 200 professionals, are the backbone of our success and deal in every phase of our projects. We built this team to cut out most subcontractors or “profit centers” that usually slow projects down. The result is a lower project cost, as well as timely project completion.

I am also the developer/owner of CenterPoint Commerce & Trade Part, which is the fastest growing business park in the State. With only a few years in business, we have developed 27 buildings in the park.

I have also created Robert Mericle’s Green Building Program with a commitment to provide lower operating costs to tenants through the implementation of eco-friendly, energy-saving measures. We have led efforts of introducing LEED to Northeastern Pennsylvania. Mericle have developed the first three industrial buildings in NEPA to receive LEED status!

Last but not least, a passion of mine is gettinginvolved in the community and bettering the lives of the people in ourcommunity. As a result, our company supports many charities and initiatives inour area of business. We have helped hundreds of non-profit
