Robert van der Meer
I am a 21-year old creative writer from the Netherlands who is most comfortable when he’s writing for something he cares about, be it Dungeons & Dragons, rowing, or a host of other topics that make me excited by just thinking about them.
If there’s one trait that defines me, it’s curiosity. There’s so much to learn about the world we live in, and I want to know as much about it as I can. That’s why I’m a Journalism bachelor.
If curiosity defines who I am, ambition defines what I do. If I want to do something, I will do it sooner or later. (But rather sooner than later!) What have I done already? I’ve written two books (here and here) and a featured article for Dungeons & Dragons, been the editor-in-chief of my boat club’s magazine for two years, and rowed in a single scull.
A lot of people wonder what a nexus is. The 'nexus' is an important concept in my first book, but it has come to define me as well. Thanks to my curiosity and ambition, I am a jack-of-all-trades, so I can connect anything to anything else. That is how I want to make a difference.
