Roberto Cioffi

I’m Roberto Cioffi, a corporate finance professional based in Calgary, Alberta, with nearly two decades of experience in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, business analysis, and corporate strategy.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in progressively senior finance roles, from Financial Analyst and Senior Financial Analyst to Finance Manager and Director of Corporate Finance. These experiences have shaped how I think about the role finance plays within an organization. I believe numbers are most useful when they help people understand what is happening in a business and make thoughtful decisions about what comes next.

My work has involved financial planning, evaluating business performance, reviewing budgets and forecasts, analyzing opportunities, supporting strategic planning, and communicating financial information to leadership teams. I’m particularly interested in the connection between finance and the wider business, including how changes in operations, economic conditions, and business priorities can influence financial performance.

I’m a graduate of the University of Calgary and continue to follow corporate finance, economics, Canadian business, financial markets, leadership, and business strategy. I enjoy learning, solving problems, and helping make complicated financial concepts easier to understand.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, traveling, hiking, skiing, cycling, and exploring Alberta and the Rocky Mountains.
