Robert Okoyo

Hello! I’m Robert Ouko, an experienced English Literature, Geography and Global Perspective Teacher with six years of teaching experience; three of teaching the International Curriculum (British IGCSE).

I have excellent teaching and classroom management skills, and I’m passionate about inspiring and challenging students to consider different perspectives and think critically. I have strong teamwork, communication and organizational skills, and am adept at building relationships with colleagues, parents and students.

I'm committed to creating a safe learning environment for my students, where every individual is valued and respected. I believe that each student’s unique talents and learning styles should be celebrated, fostered and developed.

I specialize student mentorship, an Inclusion Champion with HEI Diploma in Inclusion and Special Needs. I coach on Literature skills i.e. Writing, Debating and Speaking. I am a World Scholar Adjudicator and Team Coordinator and run a thriving Writing Club in my current station of work. I'm passionate about helping others grow, build confidence and reach their potential.
