The world of communication experts can be divided into two categories: those who communicate to live and those who live to communicate. I am part of the second category.

I am journalist, ghostwriter and consultant in communications and public affairs. Il Corriere della Sera, the most prestigious Italian newspaper, wrote that I brought the professional figure of the external relations and the communications director "for hire" to the Italian peninsula. Such a statement represents an enormous compliment. Whether or not it be true, I am surely active in the field.

For several years I have worked as a consultant for a number of multinational companies and as a temporary manager for some of the most innovative and dynamic firms in Italy.

Between 2007 and 2008 I worked as a consultant for the Italian Ministry for Reform and Innovation in the Public Administration. I am currently part of the Working Group assigned with the task to develop a new communications policy for the Italian Ministry of Defence.

I am a great believer in the power of networks. I am part of the Aspen Institute Italia where I am an Aspen Junior Fellow. I also belong to RENA, the Italian network for excellence, to Ferpi, the Italian network of public relations professionals, and I am on the Board of INWARD, the Italian network for urban creativity.

I am the co-founder of Competere - Policies for Sustainable Development - www.competere.eu - whose primary aim is to foster innovation. I currently dedicate the majority of my time and my enthusiasm to labor creation, education methods, creativity and entrepreneurship.

My latest book, "Napoleone il comunicatore" released by Egea, the publishing house of the Università Bocconi in Milan, was published last year.
