Roberto “Robert” Zayas, MD, is as a former physician with a history of pursuing numerous entrepreneurial projects. A resident of Houston, Texas, he has provided venture capital to companies in medicine, green energy, marketing, and other sectors. Roberto Zayas, MD, owns shares in firms such as Nox Health, Novus Via, and Quality Bancorp, the lattermost of which finances environmentally-conscious businesses.

He is also the founder of Z Med Clinic and Z Medi Spa. The former of these provides various medical services through office locations in Houston and Corpus Christi, while Z Medi Spa offers cosmetic treatments. Additionally, Dr. Zayas helped established the Empower Pharmacy, a Texas-based compounding pharmacy with nationwide delivery. Outside of the healthcare sphere, he cofounded the cryptocurrency and hedge fund Gapodox and a provider of Internet-marketing solutions called Lead Generation Mastery.

Dr. Zayas’ post-secondary education began at Harvard University, where he graduated with honors in chemistry. He earned his doctor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medical and served his residency at the Baylor College of Medicine. After he completed his residency, Dr. Zayas went on to patent a remote system for physician-patient consultations and published research on the relationship between prescription medications and obesity.

An active philanthropist, Dr. Robert Zayas has donated to the Ronald McDonald House, the DePelchin Children’s Center, the MD Anderson Cancer Center, and the March of Dimes. He is also an avid traveler who has visited destinations in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
