Robert Pardes
With more than 20 years in related industries, Robert Pardes addresses commercial and consumer capital markets issues from financial, legal, and operational perspectives. Currently a Consultant with a leading investment bank, Robert Pardes supports the global investment firm’s annual strategic planning needs. Robert Pardes also collaborates with its Asset Management Group. Robert Pardes is also an attorney, CPA, and author. Building his two decades of finance management, Robert Pardes developed all originations, servicing, and secondary marketing activities as Chief Financial Officer and eventually as President and Chief Executive Officer of Columbia Home Loans. Robert Pardes’ other achievements include the implementation of the regional mortgage banking company’s corporate credit policy. After successfully selling Columbia Home Loans to OceanFirst Bank, Robert Pardes continued to maintain leadership roles. At OceanFirst, Robert Pardes took on loan policy updates, corporate strategies, and budget planning options. Robert Pardes also acted as Chairman for the Asset Resolution Committee and the Management Credit Committee. Robert Pardes also supervised 250 employees and led 4 direct reports. In addition, Robert Pardes worked with boutique strategic advisory firm RRMS Advisors as Managing Director. Robert Pardes maintains the role of Managing Director Emeritus with the company. Robert Pardes achieved his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from State University of New York at Albany. After gaining his accountant certification, Robert Pardes attended Brooklyn Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor. Throughout his career, Robert Pardes has contributed to leading financial journals and news publications, including Mortgage Banking Magazine, American Banker, Advisor Perspectives, Crain’s New York Business, and The New York Post.
