Robert P Cole was appointed chief operating officer of Yappn Canada Inc in September 2018 and Alexa Translations March 2019. The collective companies are a leading technological innovator in Artificial Intelligence powered neural machine translation systems. He works closely with the CEO, finance and utilizes the invaluable experience of each member of the teams to develop and implement strategy and process and product to further the success of the company.

Prior to being named COO, Rob served as both general manager and vice president of production and client services for Yappn since it’s inception in 2013. Rob has participated in all matters of sales, strategy and product development and the integration of technology and process in the business. Previously, Rob was V.P. of Production for an incubator firm Intertainment Media Inc. and participated in the development of multiple small companies ranging from software to eCommerce to machine translation. Rob has held executive and managerial positions in the manufacturing sectors of print and automotive and brings with him many skills such as time management, team building, acquisitions, agile development and lean manufacturing.
