Born, raised, educated, worked and will in all likelihood die in Glasgow (woo-hoo lucky me). I love everything about Glasgow and have a very large collection of Glasgow memorabilia which will be gifted to the people of Glasgow in the near future. I had part of my collection displayed at the headquarters of BBC Scotland in Glasgow for nearly 3 years and I was the largest single contributor to the BBC / British Museum’s ‘A History of the World in 100 Objects’. I have had many of my photographs published in magazines and books including ‘Played in Glasgow’ which is probably the best ever book written on the history of sport in Glasgow. 'Dear Green Sounds' which is without question the best book written on Glasgow's music venues and artists. You can check out my stuff on Flickr, but be aware you could spend all day there as there is so much to see. Just click on flickr icon 'white square with blue and red dots' for most up to date uploads in my collection or the round flickr.com at the foot of this page to go to my sets. The song sheet to your right was autographed by Will Fyffe for James Cagney the actor. Will wrote it in a very Scottish way: Tae Jamie Cagney (To Jimmy Cagney) - Frae Will Fyffe (from Will Fyffe) - The original singer of the above - also a "Tap Dancer" - Your Aye - Will Fyffe 1947. Will died on the 14th December 1947 after falling out of a hotel window. He is buried at Lambhill Cemetery, Glasgow.
