Robert Preusler

Robert Preusler has dedicated his professional life to management of the transportation industry for over 30 years. As a manager, Robert Preusler developed and enacted cost-saving measures for national programs that saved millions of dollars annually. Now a CEO, Mr. Preusler utilizes his experience in logistics and management to lead Preusler & Associates, a contracting firm in Florida that specializes in disaster repair.

In addition to his extensive work experience, Robert Preusler spends a lot of time in the classroom as both an instructor and student. He graduated from Chicago's College of Advanced Traffic in 1976 and continued his education at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. There, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Transportation and Logistics/Economics. After graduating in 1978, Mr. Preusler taught as an Adjunct Professor of Transportation at Florida Community College at Jacksonville. He continues to teach there today, contributing not only academically, but also in developing in-house training programs. He has continued his own education as well, completing professional training courses in a number of disciplines, including intermodal transportation and contract negotiations, over the last 30 years.

Alongside his teaching duties, Robert Preusler also developed his managerial and executive skills across select businesses in Jacksonville over this period. For 13 years, he served as Regional Transportation Manager at U.S. Navy Resale and Services Support Office, the 32nd largest retailer in the United States. His managerial aptitude then qualified him for the position of Director of Corporate Transportation at Samsonite Corporation, the largest luggage manufacturer in the country.

After a brief turn at Clean Shower as Director of Logistics, Robert Preusler began his current position at Preusler & Associates, the largest privately held contractor in Florida specializing in remodeling and disaster repair. Within four years of running the organization, he reduced costs by 47 percent while simultaneously boosting sales by 100 percent. Moreover, he routinely implemented necessary software solutions and altered advertising strategies to increase efficiency. In his spare time, Mr. Preusler participates in his memberships with the Indoor Air Quality Association.
