Alonza Robertson

Alonza Robertson is a media relations specialist with more than 23 years of public relations and journalism experience. He has worked on hundreds of strategic political, crisis and issue-related public affairs campaigns for print, television, radio and online. Other public affairs, corporate and government clients with whom he has worked previously include: Nike, Starbucks Coffee Co., Mozilla, Nielsen Media Research,U.S. Dept. of Education, DuPont, Safeway Foods, the U.S. Conference of Mayors, the National Urban League, VH1 Save the Music, Tyson Foods, The Creative Coalition, Three Keys Music, Target, Best Buy, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Port of Oakland, American Cancer Society, cities of Las Vegas and Kansas City and Kimpton Group Hotels. Mr. Robertson also has project manager experience working for a prominent technology firm where he guided development teams that produced E-business solutions using open-source solutions and emerging social media tools like Facebook, Twitter, blogs, widgets and algorithmic-based recommendation engines. Prior to his public relations career, he worked as a newspaper journalist for the Wall Street Journal; Chicago, The Washington Post, Knight-Ridder Newspapers, Washington Bureau; San Francisco Chronicle, The Tampa Tribune, The St. Petersburg Times and Las Vegas Review Journal.
