A graduate of Arizona State University, Robert Tirgan received a bachelor of architecture with honors. Earlier, he studied architecture and philosophy at the University of Cincinnati, where he maintained membership with the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. Robert Tirgan also holds a master of science in architecture and design from the University of Michigan’s Taubman College.

Robert Tirgan has served as president of The Modern Edge since 2019. In his executive role with the Columbus, Ohio, firm, he heads a number of real estate development and architectural projects, including current plans to construct multi-family housing properties in Cleveland and surrounding areas. The Modern Edge has also worked on a number of rehabilitation projects for local properties. To support his professional interests, Mr. Tirgan has attended meetings of the National Multi-Family Housing Council in Orlando, Florida

Outside of work, he maintains an avid interest in architectural philosophy and modernism, particularly the role of deconstruction in architectural designs of the 21st century.
