Robert W. Otto

Chicago resident Robert W. Otto has served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Platinum Red LLC since 2004, leading a company that distributes exhibition venues for museums, libraries, hotels, casinos, cruise ships as well as other public attractions. A Board Member of the elite food and wine club ChicaGourmets!, Robert W. Otto also provides leadership for an organization that introduces fine dining enthusiasts to Chicago’s top restaurants. Otto organizes dinners for the club, negotiating with restaurants and vendors to produce large events with as many as 500 attendees. He gives wine demonstrations, leads tasting events, and has mastered the art of paring wines with meals. Otto enjoys traveling to the United States' leading wine-producing regions and studying the varieties indigenous to each area. Also an avid dog enthusiast, he has trained three Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

A human resources expert with more than three decades of experience in the field, Robert W. Otto held executive-level HR positions at three Fortune 500 companies and functioned as the CEO and President of an HR firm that catered to the manufacturing, development, transportation, and gaming industries. A member of the The Employment Management Association and the American Society for Personnel Administration, Otto earned his Bachelor's degree in History in 1969 and Master's degree in Urban Studies in 1971 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
