I am Robin J. Christopherson, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and Registered Play Therapist.

My passion and emphasis is partnering with children, adolescents and their families. My goal is to help you, your child/teen and family maximize your strengths, create positive change, achieve goals and develop healthier relationships.

I received a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and am licensed to practice in the State of Indiana. I have specialized training in Play Therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

I approach therapy from a Family Systems perspective, meaning I consider family (nuclear, extended, kinship and created) the greatest influence on children, teens and on each other. When meeting with clients I am interested in getting to know about your family ~ the support and the stressors. Is your teen's struggles effecting the entire family? As a parent are you frustrated because you've tried everything and your child's behavior isn't improving? Learning about the child/teen and family helps me to help you better.
I believe that every child (no matter what age) is worthy of achieving their potential.
I believe in empowering clients to find their voice and use it in healthy ways.
I believe in teamwork. I consider it an honor to join clients and help them create family healing.
I am creative and approach each child/teen/family in unique and individualized ways. I utilize my authenticity and sense of humor along with talk therapy, play therapy, art therapy and EMDR to help clients achieve their goals.
