Engaging speaker; creative writer and painter. Employee engagement expert. A driven, left-handed ambivert, absent-minded and funny (even when I'm not trying to be). I lead an employee communication team for a major healthcare company based in Texas.

I'm mom to four-legged rescue canines, including Petunia and Tank, an inseparable sister-and-brother act. They're half American Bulldog, half Pit Bull Terrier -- loving, sweet, and over-the-top playful at all times. They are my "baes!" They want to be wherever I am...in my face (and unfortunately, into everything else, too).

Passionate, burnt orange-blooded Texas Longhorns football fan and alum of The University of Texas. I'm there, in the stadium, in winning seasons and sucky ones. I'm there when it's 100 degrees F on a September afternoon. I wear the Longhorn tattoo on my face, and I just might be too old to do that. But, I'll still be doing it when I'm 85. Hook 'em, Horns!

I love flowers, especially tropical blooms, like plumeria, jasmine and hibiscus. I love being next to the sea (which doesn't explain why I still live in Texas). I can sit on a beach for hours, feel the breeze in my hair, sand in my toes, watch the clouds and sun move across the sky.

Took me a long time to overcome a fear of flying. Did it by flying in a biplane. Flying in an open-air crate will help you or scare the hell out of you. I've had the good fortune to visit Europe, Australia, Mexico, Canada the Philippines and the Caribbean. (Personal note to Ireland: My Irish DNA seriously digs you. When I'm on your soil I feel that familiar longing...like it was once home, way back when. My peeps from way back hail from Donegal County.)

Cupcake addict. Jewelry addict. Not necessarily in that order. My favorite musicians are John Waite and Don Henley. Incredible voices and songwriters. If I write a movie screenplay, I want those guys to write and sing the soundtrack. And Matt McConaughey-hey-hey to play the lead male. It's a Texas thang. Alright, alright, alright!

I've already told you way too much. You'll have to ask me if you want to learn more...
