Robin Cooper

Robin is a 36 year old Georgia native. She is a proud graduate of Morris Brown College (B.S. Psychology) and Mercer University (M.Ed. Counseling). Robin lives in Atlanta with her husband, Dexter and 5 year old daughter, Sydney.

Between being a mother, wife and budget analyst, Robin uses her spare time to review and share beauty, health and fashion tips on her Brown Girl Certified Blog. Robin has always had an interest in cosmetics, clothing and fitness and blogging is the perfect venue to share and possibility inspire others.

Currently, Robin is the sole contributer to Brown Girl Certified. The content features items based upon her personal impressions as an African American woman, with brown eyes, dark brown hair and a deep-dark complexion (MAC NW47, MUFE 178). Robin is petite at 5'4" and 130lbs with an athletic build.

Brown Girl Certified features product reviews and information geared towards women of color, however, Robin firmly believes that all women are beautiful beings who should feel loved, accepted and appreciated for who they are. Beauty and fashion is an simply extension of the individual and should be a true reflection of who you are.

Robin hopes to encourage and inspire others with her blog while developing new friendships and connections through the wonderful art of technology.
