Former University President in Wheeling, West Virginia
While serving as president of West Liberty University from 2007 to 2015, Robin Capehart concurrently chaired multiple professional organizations, including the American Association of Colleges and Universities, the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and the Institute for Innovation in Education, among others. His position at the university allowed Robin Capehart to draw upon years of experience as an attorney in private practice and an educator/program director with Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Robin Capehart also held membership in the President’s Trust of the American Association of Colleges and Universities and both the President’s Council and the Committee on Budget and Planning for Division II of the National Collegiate Athletic Association
For the past two years, Capehart has held dual positions as a senior consultant with Georgetown Solutions and a senior resident fellow with the Public Policy Foundation of West Virginia. Building on a lengthy history in the entertainment industry, he also serves as a producer with Brentwood Entertainment Motion Picture Productions. He recently earned an associate producer credit on the 2016 film Believe - The Movie Production Company.
