Robin Davies

As Group Managing Director of Insta Group, Robin Davies achieved record profits, negotiated significant CO2 saving budgets with major energy suppliers and launched a line of renewable energy products. Previously, he held the main board roles of Group Business Development Director and Group Marketing Director at Westbury plc, a top 10 UK house builder. Prior to these roles he was Logistics Director at H & R Johnson Tiles Ltd., located in Stoke-on-Trent. He received his Doctorate in Engineering from the University of Warwick, where his work resulted in GBP 13 million investment for Space4 Ltd., which still manufactures award winning energy efficient homes some 10 years later. Graduating with an MBA from Manchester Business School, Robin received his Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from The Open University and Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Robin is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and the Energy Institute and a Fellow of the Society of Biology. He has recently been interviewed as a candidate for the Sunday Times “Profit Track 100” 2011 as MD of one of the top 150 UK privately owned companies ranked by profit growth.
