As a businesswoman, Robin is a classic example of turning your frustration into a fully operational business. In 2007 when writing and self-publishing, Robin was uninformed and taken advantage of during her book publishing process. What was her response? Research, learn and teach others not to make the mistakes she did. What started as sharing new-found knowledge turned into the demand to form a thriving creative and coaching business for those who dreamt of becoming a self-published author.

Since 2010, Robin, a.k.a. The Self-Publishing Maven, has taught, trained, and published thousands of aspiring authors, nationally and internationally, from various walks of life. From doctors to subject matter experts, to entrepreneurs and advocates, as well as faith-based leaders, and the lists continue. Several who have worked with Robin have appeared on The Today Show, Dr. Oz, and The Word Network and featured in Essence Magazine, The New York Daily News, and local and national news and radio stations.

Robin will always be a ‘Maven in Publishing,’ but she understands that a business must grow and evolve. In 2020, Robin founded Pen Publish Profit, LLC™, where they write and publish great books, make money and impact the world.

In this new space, Robin continues to build on the author tribe already established by continuing to educate, mentor, and personally service authors who love to write and hold the desire to own their space and use their author powers for the greater good.
