As a child I knew myself as an artist. I searched all my life for a medium that spoke to me. When I was 50 I found that it is patina on metals. Perhaps that is because the colors and textures that are acquired through my process is like communion with God. I apply the chemicals in multiple layers, not knowing beforehand what the precise color result will be. I place my trust in the process of chemical oxidation, and that's when it turns divine.
