Robin Rodriguez

For 25 years, Robin Rodriguez served as Managing Partner of FSI Group, LLC, a financial firm that dealt in government securities. Before joining FSI Group, LLC, Rodriguez worked with Vilas & Hickey, a NYSE brokerage firm. His responsibilities there included handling London option trading. Robin Rodriguez also developed the firm’s managed account program for the foreign exchange and commodity markets. Prior to working at Vilas & Hickey, Robin Rodriguez served as the Silver Arbitrage Trader for Mocatta Metals Corporation and authored the firm’s Bullion Report. Robin Rodriguez was previously a member with the Chicago Board of Trade, the New York Futures Exchange, and the International Monetary Market of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. An advanced student of economics and mathematics at Amherst College, Robin Rodriguez also studied at New York University. He developed trading strategies that have been featured in the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Tribune, the Washington Post and many other newspapers as well as TV shows like the Wall Street Journal Reports. Robin Rodriguez founded and serves as a Managing Member of Anglo-American Financial, LLC. The firm invests in private debt, lending up to 75 percent of the liquidation value, with interest rates as low as the low teens. Under Robin Rodriguez, Anglo-American Financial, LLC now occupies a leading position for clients unable to secure funding through conventional banks. Over Robin Rodriguez’s tenure, Anglo-American Financial, LLC has provided funding for a number of big-ticket deals, including $18 million in financing for a 3,600-acre residential, golf, ski, and retail facility in Lake Cascade, Idaho. The firm also secured a $5.3-million refinancing loan for a marine dealership, provided debt consolidation in the amount of $2.7 million for a ranch in Oregon, and secured $1.8 million to finance industrial growth in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
