Hi, I'm Robert.

I'm a startup enthusiast with a passion for technologies that make the world more connected, efficient and sustainable. I currently work as a Strategic Analyst at Intent Media, where I own business analytics, operational forecasting and business development strategy.

I recently completed my MBA at the Yale School of Management with concentrations in finance and entrepreneurship. While in school, I worked as a Venture Fellow at SJF Ventures, a growth-stage venture capital fund focused on businesses that drive strong social and environmental returns. In a former life, I was an investment banking Analyst focused on mergers and acquisitions in the technology, health care and consumer products industries. I also have experience in private equity fundraising and management consulting. I'm definitely a business guy (as my resume suggests), but am teaching myself to code.

I currently reside in New York City, but have lived in Texas, Washington DC, Heidelberg (Germany), Seoul, London and Paris. I love to travel.

I studied Philosophy and Political Science at Rice University as an undergraduate, and received my MPhil in International Relations from Oxford University. My masters thesis explored how countries might be able to craft more durable trade agreements in an international environment characterized by anarchy and power discrepancy.

I'm a total music junkie - my interest spans genres and time periods, but I am particularly into electronic music (in fact, I've got a DJ alter-ego who plays deep/tech house - he disappeared for a while, but has resurfaced since I've been back in school). I'm also an avid runner.
