Robo Mom

Hi, Robo Mom here! I'm a mom of two, a wife and journalist. I also suffer from a rare condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). EDS is a connective tissue disorder which effects my body's collagen. The collagen acts as a glue in the body, holding everything together. My collagen is more like chewing gum, it's very stretchy and this causes problems throughout my body. These problems include; dislocations, gastro issues, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, to name but a few. There is no cure and very little help available here in Ireland.

You might be wondering why I call myself Robo Mom, well there is a story behind this and I will explain it all in my blog 'The Adventures of Robo Mom and Bendy Boy'.

I hope that my blog will be beneficial to other parents out there who are fighting chronic illnesses and juggling family life.
