Las Vegas, Nevada
Currently working as an emergency physician in Las Vegas Nevada at three of the main hospitals in town. I spent 4 years in the Army as an aerospace engineer and intelligence officer before switching to the Air Force. I trained in emergency medicine through the Air Force and also worked as a flight surgeon. I've been a validating flight surgeon with USTRANSCOM and regularly flew aerovac missions. I have switched to the reserves where I'm a flight doc and a critical care air transport team physician. My current job is with Air Force Special Operations Command and I'm often on the road with various Air Force humanitarian missions. I went to Peru in 2008 for a 2 month tropical medicine course/fellowship which led to a subspecialization in travel and tropical medicine. I also have advanced training in hyperbaric medicine and emergency ultrasound.
