I've called Portland, Oregon and the Southwest US my home for the last decade. I was raised in Texas and spent most of my early years there. I'm a bit of a wandering soul, when it comes down to it.

My youth was spent in and out of college, digressing from wanting to be a biologist, or an archaeologist, or some form of artist. I traveled quite a bit for a young lad in those days, making my way across the US to study historic areas, or ecological places of interest. At one point I took a 40 day jaunt into the rain forests of Mexico and Guatemala to help a professor photograph and document the remaining populations of certain anoles species. In the end, photography captured my attention and passion.

I cut my teeth doing concert photos at various clubs and venues in Texas. I also started out by making promotional material and photographs for Mars Volta and other groups. I ultimately ended up as the photographer for the industrial rock groups, Ministry and Revolting Cocks.

I also have a love of all things paranormal, including ghosts and haunted places. I like looking for and visiting abandoned locations and old ghost towns.
