Robert Verwaayen

Professionaly I am a VC, having founded Keen Venture Partners. KEEN is An investment firm which backs best of breed entrepreneurial talent, technology and business concepts in innovation hubs across Europe and the US. We partner with teams who seek capital to scale.

We are thesis based, globally active and always try to add exceptional value to the companies we back. We start working hard for you day one if we are convinced about your company. We call this principle 'human capital first'.

Prior to joining Prime Ventures, I was a strategy consultant working for the Monitor Group in both their New York and London offices. I started my career as an Analyst at PA Consulting Group in New York. I hold a BSc degree in Business Management from Babson College, MA, USA.

I am also a husband and father of two beautiful kids. After having lived abroad for a long time my family now lives in Amsterdam. I love surfing, DJ-ing, composing music, politics, philosophy and the martial arts.

I am a proud trustee for the Autism Research Trust which raises funds to support research conducted at the Autism Research Centre at Cambridge University. I have recently founded a Dutch support trust for ART which will go live soon.
