Rob Davis

Portland, Oregon

I'm a reporter covering the environment on the investigations team at The Oregonian.

I joined Voice of San Diego in 2006 when it was an unknown nonprofit. My investigative reporting helped propel VOSD to international renown, forcing criminal charges and policy reforms, ending wasteful spending and keeping city leaders honest. (Or at least more honest.)

I left my job as senior reporter/assistant editor at VOSD in October 2012 to travel with my wife. We returned the following June, 55,000 miles and three continents later. Still happy to not be on an overnight bus.

I've written for The New York Times, San Diego Magazine, High Country News and others.

I proudly hail from the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
