Rob Woodfork is a longtime media professional in multiple markets. He's currently in D.C. with WTOP 103.5 FM, where he's been a traffic and sports reporter since 2011. Rob fills a variety of roles for the station, including producing and delivering on-air reports.
Also a writer and content editor for WTOP.com, Rob pens opinion pieces for the award-winning WTOP sports department. He has authored articles on diverse topics that range from opportunities for minority NFL coaches to the state of D.C. sports after the Capitals' Stanley Cup victory.
After a post-college career in healthcare, Rob Woodfork quickly transitioned to producing and reporting traffic for Total Traffic Network in Washington, D.C. before moving to a similar role with Metro Networks in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. His work in central Pennsylvania also including announcing for Soft Rock 100.1 and covering Penn State football for Radio Pennsylvania. Rob enjoys playing softball when away from work, as well as spending quality time with family.
