Born and raised in Mariposa, CA, residing in Atwater, CA for over three decades. I’m married to my dear husband and soulmate of over 30 years, Ron Porter.

We have two cats, Tobey, and Morgan. We are avid cat lovers and are dedicated to making sure they are as spoiled as they can possibly be. Cats are one of my greatest passions, and we have many stories to tell.

I’m active in a vibrant community church where I am the coordinator for a mentoring ministry. I am also passionate about the under served and misrepresented and strive to be Jesus to them the best way I can.

My hobbies are writing, reading, sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, movies, music, food, making people laugh, and enjoying life. I love to create things with my hands, so they are usually very busy, even while I may be doing something else.

I have had a vast career in the administrative/clerical area working in commercial and private insurance, superior court probation, civil service, military airplane industry, public education, welfare, and self-employment in website development and design and desktop publishing.

There is not a day that goes by when I am not thanking my Lord for the gift of life. I have a colorful health history that is really quite the miracle and I know it is by the grace of God that I am alive at all.

I try to be Jesus to everyone wherever I go. My mission, as I see it, is to love everyone as God loves me. And that's a whole lot. I have a lot of love to give and there are a lot of people out there. I hope this blog serves to bring a smile to someone's face as they read my stories of life and love and hope.
