Robyn Rogers

I have recently earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University last August 2012. There I was a member of the accounting club and graduated with a 3.0 GPA. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Science degree in Accounting from the Texas A&M University-Commerce online classes only. I am taking just one class each semester if the relating class is avalivable; therefore, my studies will not interfere with my ability to hold productive and sucessful full-time position.

I recently worked as a staff accountant at a north houston CPA firm. There I worked as an auditor, reviewed financials, completed complitions, performed various accounting tasks such as make month end entries, other accounting journal entries, numerous bookeeping and client support for their use of quickbooks and also accounting journalizing and relating other questions. I also prepared all forms of tax return preparations. Returns varied in difficultly and mostly consisted of a construction client base. Additionally daily questions by clients were answered and I often was responsible for formulating calculations needed for the record keeping of the accounting transactions made as well as other calculations for clients and co workers through the use of CS Professional Suite and QuickBooks Pro. I performed both field and office audit work including the testing of accounts and all walkthroughs during the audit. Tax prepareration included individuals, partnerships, corporations, non-profit organizations, franchise, estate tax, K1 partnerships returns were completed through UltraTax CS software. I have also established and maintained the bookkeeping for Rose Acres Farms prior.

Prior to that I worked at Rose Acres Farms as a bookkeeper/office manager during my last year in college. I have also been a market researcher for over a dozen market research comapnies.

Seen through my résumé, my past working experiences have required a number of similar skills all relating back to the accounting and business field. I’m looking for a new beginning to a life long career and am able and willing to work overtime. An opportunity would allow me to increase my skills while also providing a broader base of accounting knowledge and enhance my experience professionally. In addition to my accounting skills, I will bring excellent leadership strong organization skills to the job.
