Robyn Sassen

I am an independent critic with catholic taste for all kinds of things beautiful, evocative and moving. My professional focus extends through visual and performing art to theatre and children's theatre.

I have degrees from Wits University and the University of South Africa, am endowed with a voracious curiosity about many things, and write, edit and teach for a living.

When I'm not earning a living, I love to read, to draw and to fold paper. And I have a yen to learn to read Kafka in German and to learn to play the recorder. Visiting the catacombs in Rome is pivotal to my bucket list.
