Hello to all! My name is Rochana. Rochana is a Sanskrit word which means 'Soothing Brilliance'. And I like living up to my name.

I consider myself a Scientist in mind, an Artist at heart and a Philosopher in soul. I chose Design as my life path and career to bring these facets together, and practice them everyday. Through my work, I aspire to be an agent of major societal transformation.

Over the past 16 years, I have been fortunate to work across multiple Design disciplines and with diverse clients, spearheading over a 100 projects, which have influenced national and international markets and audiences. At present, I work as a Brand and Design Consultant on individual as well as collaborative basis to enable businesses and organisations become successful and responsible, while providing higher value for their customers and stakeholders. Leadership as a concept greatly interests me and I seek to work with current and potential leaders and influencers, helping them become more effective and inspirational.

Being versatile is a second nature, and my current interests range from Business to Culture, and from Sciences to Arts. I am constantly on the lookout for opportunities and challenges that can fuse these interests.

In my early years, I was something of a poet and a voracious reader. Though I did not pursue writing for a while after, I have been able to rekindle this passion with InkBlood, which is my parallel venture founded along with a close friend and partner, to generate literary awareness and teach writing for creative expression, with a focus on the youth.

I believe communication plays a crucial role in individual and societal growth, and that having a real conversation can impart true power in communication. This is also the reason why I love Jazz the most among all musical forms. I enjoy working on both sides of creating real conversations by speaking and teaching, and by listening and learning.
