2012 started me on the journey to college counseling. I knew - from sitting on Notre Dame's alumni board and assisting with recruiting for 15 years - that if we wanted to see more than the same 100 names on the list of eligible student recruits, we would have to increase the pool of students. And, if students are to be in the best position to finding the best college fit, the process must start in 9th grade.
