Rocío Medina

North Fontana, California

Native of the Echo Park/Silverlake area of Los Angeles, CA. I am an Art Historian whose emphasis is in Chicano and Native American Art for the purpose of making them relevant in the academy and the art world. I have also conducting research through a fellowship at the Summer Research Opportunities Program, University of Illinois of Urbana-Champaign. At Pitzer College, I am the head mentor for the New Resources Student program for non-traditional age students. Further, I have curated at Space Gallery in Pomona, CA.
