Im a Guitarist Singer and Songwriter.Recorded and worked with Albert lee, John David(quo,dave edmunds) Boz Boorer (morrisey,bowie,lilly allen) Linda Gail Lewis , Annie Marie Dolan ,Stephen Ackles, Andy Anderson ,Lyn Boorer, Shannah, Tracey K Houston, Martin Davis,Colin Paul and the Persuaders,The Sunsets, Alley Cats, Gerry Barte,The Dominators,The Explosion Rockets, Dave Bull,Jody Dickey , Dean Ryan, Dean Memphis,Wild Bill,Of Course and a load of other great musicians. Im a singer,songwriter and Guitarist originally from sunny Cornwall.And currently live over in Germany, I have a band called Shawn Harvey and b57 here and thats my current project.. Ive had several projects since 1992 my first being Ricky fentone and the Flat topCats,Then a solo phase as Rock n roll Cyberboy with Electro Rock n Roll leading back to a band called Risky Bizniz. Some Brief Career highlights are: 1987 "What do you want to make those eyes" Video shoot with Shakin Stevens. 1988 "Stars in their eyes" audition in Exeter. 1991 Filmed for BBC Wales singing “Long Tall Sally” 2000 Filmed for the movie "Pandeamonium" starring Linus Roach and Directed by Julian Temple. 2002 "Men and Motors" Filming Granada tv studios Manchester with James Whale. 2004 “In the Hills” Recording with Albert Lee and Boz Boorer Mill Hill Studios London . 2005 Recording at Berryhill Studios With John David (Status Quo/Dave Edmunds) 2006 Filmed for the Faders Video "No sleep tonight". 2010 Performed with Andy Anderson (The cure/iggy pop) 2010 Playing the Hope and Anchor (famous for the sex pistols) 2010 Performing at the Dublin Castle Camden london. 2010 Performing at the 25th International Birmingham Jazz and Blues Festival. 2010 Performing with Linda Gail Lewis/Annie Dolan and Stephen Ackles . 2010 “Thinkin it Over” Recording session with Boz Boorer, Serra Vista studios Portugal. 2012 Americana International Festival. Newark Showgrounds. Performing at renowned venues such as The Millenium Dome, The Troubadour, Madame Jojos Soho. Jazz after Dark soho, Ginglik shepards bush, The Constitution, Dublin Castle. Previous History 1981-1990 toured uk as a big rock n roll fan and learnt the ins and outs of music. 1983 Got First Acoustic Guitar and taught myself guitar,four tracking and overdubbing 1986 Performed at Oakdene Holiday Camp Bournemouth. 1986 Filmed for a short interview at Moor Park celebrity Golf. 1987 Filmed for a Video shoot at Shakys "what do you want to make those eyes at me for"in London and appeared in it. 1988 Performed in Blackpool at an open night sing a long in a packed Casino. 1988 Filmed and Auditioned for "Stars in Their Eyes". 1988 wrote first tune "Raindrops" 1990 Formed "the flat top cats" duo with silke 1991 Performed at various clubs in Cardiff and Newport Wales. 1991 Filmed for BBC television Wales singing "Long Tall Sally" by little richard. 1992 Performed in the Hayes at "Fingers" Nightclub and Bar Cardiff. 1993 Performed first show as the "Flat Top Cats" Trio with guitarist Vic. 1993-1996 Gigged extensively with the Flat top Cats band. 1994 performed at Brean sands holiday complex for the Country music festival. 1994 Fender Demo met Jerry Donahue.(Fairport Convention/Hellecasters) 1995: Recorded first album "Night Of Passion" with his band The Flat Top Cats on a Prince's Trust grant 1995 Performed at Screaming Lord Sutches Nightclub. 1995 Met Hank Marvin 1995 Met Chuck Berry. 1995 Perfomed with the Sunsets in Penarth.singing "My way" 1996 Recorded second album "Dont knock me,Dont rock me" at Beatroute studios Hirwaun. 1997 Recorded third album "Cadillac Man" at Beatroute studios hirwaun while Stereophonics were there ,I was a nieghbour for Stuart Cable. 1997: Shawn and The Flat Top Cats were made honorary members of the Cynon Valley Cancer Research Committee after raising nearly £700 in one year for charity from album sales, signings and performing at the local carnival 1997: Launch of Flat Top Cats Fan Club 1998: Wrote space musical "Zog", an ongoing project to date 1998: Featured on Valleys Radio, an hour long program about Shawn with live interview 1999: Launched www.shawnharvey.com due to ever-growing demand of fans 2000: Songs from latest album "Cyberoxin" included in playlist of Falmouth FM 2001: Recording of Wild Wild Woman demo CD at Monroe's Studios, London 2000 Filmed for the Movie “Pandaemonium” starring Linus Roach directed by Julian Temple. 2001: Performance at the launch party of Popshow, the popular London showcase 2001: 45 minute Shawn special on the Chris Young Show, Taunton TV with live interviews and performances 2001: Performance of Wild Wild Woman on the Blue Whale Show, Men & Motors TV with James Whale 2002: Filmed by ATIT Productions for the C4 pilot "Thank You For The Music". A film crew of 7 travelled to Cornwall for 2 days of filming. 2002 Filmed for No Bling television interview and Performance of “Wild Wild Woman”in London. 2002 Filmed “Wild wild woman” Video with Valeria Dragova London Fetish Model. 2002: Obt
