It’s hard to believe that just 16 years ago I was still stuck in the corporate rat race, working for IBM. I was working 60-80 hours a week, thinking that I had “job security.” – What an illusion!
16 years ago I was still living in Munich, Germany, wondering if I will ever be able to retire comfortably and to enjoy the things that really matter in life.
And now – just 16 short years later – I’m living right at Lake Travis in Austin, TX.
Over the past 16 years, I have been able to focus on day trading and achieve what many would call “The American Dream.” I am my own boss now, and life is good.
Here’s my vision: I am NOT trying to convince anybody to start trading. So if you are wondering whether you should trade for a living or not – DON’T!
Trading is tough. Trading is difficult. And only very few traders are actually making money. Most traders lose money!
But if you are interested in trading, then Rockwell Trading is here to help you through the jungle. I LOVE talking about trading. If we ever meet in person – or maybe in a webinar – you’ll experience my passion for trading. And I have absolutely no problem sharing with you what works for me and what doesn’t.

What charting software I use, how I set up my charts, when I enter my trades, when I exit my trades, where I place my stop loss, when I take profits, what computers and monitors I use for trading, my money management technique, and everything else I do.
But don’t follow this blindly! Use this information and then see if it makes sense for YOU.
Take my trading strategies as “trading ideas” and test them for yourself! Don’t make the same mistake that I made when I tried to become an exactly duplicate of another trader.
Every trader is different!
Find your style. And by all means: Create your own plan and keep a trading log!
Analyze your log to find out what works for you and what doesn’t. Sometimes you just need to do the opposite of what you are doing. That’s how I discovered the “Ping Pong Strategy.”
