Roderick Knox

For the past 2 years, New Jersey professional Roderick Knox has served as assistant chief school administrator and officer with the Principle Academy Charter school. In this position, he handles human resources tasks such as hiring new staff with the goal of growing the school and improving academic outcomes for students. Additionally, Roderick Knox oversees maintenance and security on campus.
Prior to joining Principle Academy Charter, Mr. Knox spent 23 years as a member of the Atlantic City Fire Department, holding positions such as incident commander, fire training instructor, and eventually battalion chief. He retired from the fire department in 2015.
Mr. Knox holds a bachelor of arts in Biblical and theological studies and a master of arts in executive leadership from Liberty University. He earned an additional master of arts in educational leadership from Cheyney University before returning to Liberty University, where he is currently pursuing a PhD in strategic leadership. Outside of work, Mr. Knox enjoys sports such as boxing, basketball, and football.
