Rodger D. Smock

An experienced human resources and business development professional, Rodger D. Smock focused on marketing and psychology courses at the University of Cincinnati, receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1965. Since then, he has remained apprised of developments in his field via membership in several professional organizations, including the Society for Human Resource Management and Professionals In Human Resources Association. Today, Rodger D. Smock applies his knowledge as the Executive Vice President of Priority One Credit Union in South Pasadena, California.

A member-owned credit union open to employees from a variety of organizations and all residents and workers in the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valley, Priority One Credit Union puts its members first. In his capacity as a marketing coordinator, Rodger D. Smock promotes the value of the company's banking, investment, loan, and insurance services. He also educates potential members on the benefits of membership, including participation in Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee elections in addition to the increased savings yields and lower loan rates that go along with company profit increases.

Rodger D. Smock balances his marketing and public relations duties with the comprehensive management of human resources. He oversees all employee training and payroll activities while monitoring branch operations and the state of the company's facilities. As a result, Rodger D. Smock possesses a thorough understanding of the company's day-to-day goings-on and an ability to communicate them to personnel and the public.

Outside of his professional duties, Mr. Smock assumes an active role in the community, contributing regularly to Children's Hospital of Los Angeles as well as various AIDS organizations and homeless shelters. In his free time, he pursues an avid interest in gardening.
