After 30 years in the financial services industry, I was laid of in 2013 at age 48. Utilizing my prowess as a self-directed investor and the advantages of lower cost overseas living, my wife and I opted for early retirement. Malaysia is our destination on a visa that prohibits work. (Online income is excluded). We're selling the house and all our stuff and embarking on an experimental adventure. Open to almost any new adventure, I recently started my first blog and enjoy sharing our experiences.
